I reset my computer, while it was doing it I left the computer alone. After a few hours I came back and noticed it was turned off. I turn it on and I get greeted by a "Couldn't erase all of your personal files" message. It then proceded to reinstall windoes.

I don't give a crap about that, but Im worried I could have damaged my computer. Is there any chance I did?

Check all the hardware for power issues... Open the case and sniff around and look at the cap's... any leaking? any sign of a power issue?

boot to a usb and check the rest of the system as well

Only hardware damage you can get with power outage is either to your MoBo if you were updating BIOS or to your storage drives when files were accessed on it. If MoBo BIOS update is interrupted, your MoBo will be bricked and you're looking towards new MoBo. If the power outage happened during normal operations, your system can be corrupted on your drives, up to the point where you're looking to reinstalling your Win.

If everything works fine without issues then there were no damage to your system.
