Headset problems audio and mic issues

Hello everyone, a month ago I bought a headset which is giving me some problmes. I couldn't find a solution so I decided to open a thread here.
I bought the hyperx cloud 2 and the problem is about the sound, in fact, when the headset is connected via the dedicated sound card there isn't any sound from the drivers and
the microphone wasn't working too but if the headset is connected via jack the sound works. I tried to contact amazon but even with the replacement I had the same problems.
The headset is plug and play and it is updated at the 5.0 firmware and works with other pcs. Another interesting thing is that the pc recognizes the device and lists it in the audio manager.
The microphone doesn't show the audio levels(volume).
There are no problems in the USB ports, I tried to reinstall the headset, update the drivers but nothing changed.
My pc is a notebook ASUS X53S, there are no problems with the integrated mic or speakers, I've called support 3 times but I have only talked to an operator and never with a technician.
Can you help me? I don't know what to do now.
