FX - 9370 keep or change

I am currenty using a FX - 9370 cpu and am having issues with the cooling, so am looking into getting a new cooler.

However now thinking is it worth changing the CPU to Rizen or not. not sure what performance increase I would get.

Any help or thoughts that you have would be welcome on this topic, also what water cooler should I get (there are a lot of them out there)

Well it really depends on ur budget. Cuz leaked benches say that 8th gen has 11% better single core performance and there are all are 6 core models. I expect the performance to be better than ryzen. If you want to spend 150-200 bucks less, go for ryzen. Either one is a big boost from ur fx setup.

Exactly. I do think bang for buck ryzen is hard to top. I've got the R5 1600(just built it Saturday), so still some breaking in to do, but I think it's going to do well, especially when I get around to overclocking. I think with ram, I had 325-350 in cpu board and ram. Keep in mind that includes tax because I got it from microcenter.
