What is the difference in laymen terms, which is better for gaming on a Ryzen 5 1600 cpu (assuming same ram speed and latencies)

No idea, i have seen your post in my e-mail message but not in forum. That's why I responded to it. This is not first time I have seen this happen but I thought that OP deleted it before I got to it. Really weird and I think it may be some glitch in SW. There are also some empty posts from time to time.

You're right about rank vs channel, but I assumed that the OP meant channel.
