Hello everyone,

I recently bought a new GTX 1060 6GB to replace my old GTX 560 Ti but after installing the new card and powering up the computer i only got a black screen. Nothing was ever displayed, no BIOS screen either.
However i could hear the windows 7 sound through my headset that signals that the computer got into the login screen. I also assume that the card itself was running since the fans of the GPU were working when i powered up the computer. Before installing the new GPU i also uninstalled the old drivers trough the control panel.

Motherboard: Acer Predator G3610
Old GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560Ti
New GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1060 OCV1

Thank you in advance for helping.

There is no newer version of the bios available.
Do you think the psu is the problem? it should have the required power supply since my last card required more.
