Sorry for the over-asked question, it probably only requires a basic answer as well
http://imgur.com/a/LNq5h <<< These are most of my software's I have on my HDD (which is disconnected atm). Yesterday I installed a new SSD and with Windows 10 and I have only Google Chrome, Graphics driver and 1 or 2 other software's installed.
-I understand that I download Editing/3D software and some Games to SSD.
But what about (little) softwares like, HD Tune, Macrium Reflect, Itunes, PC security like Avast...basically the non-editing software. Where do I install them as they dont need to 'run fast' which is what an SSD does to softwares.
-And so I presume I transfer all my work projects (such as Unity projects, or Maya save files etc) to HDD, and install the softwares themselves to SSD.
Or think of at like this, what do you install on a HDD if its just primarily for storage for photos, music etc.
Going to see how my SSD/PC performs before re-connecting my HDD with all my work/photos/games etc, and then wiping it and using it as storage
Thank You
