Can't remove RX 480 from MSI NIGHTBLADE

Hello, I'm having a problem while removing my RX 480 from my nightblade case, the thing that keeps the gpu locked into the slot doesn't want to release it, no matter what I do, it's stuck as stone. below some pics of how the situation is right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated (I want to replace the RAM)

In one of your images, it looks like you have the card partially out of the pcie slot. That may be preventing you from releasing the clip. Push the card back in to the slot, and then try releasing the clip.

Every videocard slot has a clip guard at the end. This clip guard must be pushed sideways or backwards depending on the motherboard.

that clip seems to be stuck, thats the problem. Is there anyhing that might block it from releasing it? I've tried to push & pull it in every direction but the clip just wont move and release it.
