Hello folks, it's been a while i felt myself ok with my pc config until i played Squad. Omg on some maps its ok but on another its constant freezing. Lagging on all game settings. Like fps is pretty ok and even stable and on pretty medium-high settings though but freezing is out of control. Here is my pc
I7 4770k
GTX 470
Kingston DDR3-1600 8192MB PC3-12800 HyperX
Power 600w
ASUS B85-Plus
Windows 7

Recently i want to get new gpu. But maybe i need something more to upgrade in here, so i need your help.
Budget is 300-500$

Solution
What type of psu do you have?

The GPU is definitely dated and needs upgraded. The ram should be ok, but ddr3 is cheap enough you could pick up another 8gb. Could add an SSD as a boot drive. That haswell i7 should have another year or 2 anyway.

You could probably get a 1060 6gb for about 300. But if you wanted to do more, even if you went with a 1050ti, that would be a huge upgrade from your 470.

Also, I think the windows 7 to 10 free upgrade has still been working. So you might be able to upgrade to Windows 10 with your Windows 7 key.

If you can match ram to what is in there, that would be ideal. For an. Ssd Samsung makes decent ones, I used crucial and Corsair branded ones with no issues as well. I'd suggest something like a pay a 240gb for a boot drive. I think those are about 80 dollars. Or you can always go budget. But even a small SSD as a boot drive, then keep your current drive to load your games etc onto would help it feel quicker for day to day stuff like being online etc.
