MSI B350 Gaming Plus VS. Asus B350-F ROG Strix?

I am getting a Ryzen 3 1200 for a budget build along with 2x8 GB kit of GSkill Trident Z at 3000MHz. Which would be the better board to go with? I would like to go for the best value as this is a mid range build. Thanks guys :)

If 4 SATA ports is enough (you don't need 6), slightly lower audio codec version is okay, slightly lower quality LAN controller is okay, do not need any USB3.1 ports, do not intend to 3-way CrossFire, do not need RGB ambient lighting, prefer a black + red motif (rather than all-gunmetal/grayish look), and 6 power phases is enough (instead of 8), then, the MSI B350 Gaming Plus (at ~$90) is the more affordable and better value mobo.

But, if you need all (or most) of the aforementioned features/ports/connections, then, the Asus ROG Strix B350-F Gaming (at ~$116) should be your pick. It's up to your priorities and needs/wants if you can spend for the ~$26...

Its always good to have more features and I do like the Asus board a lot. But I am running a super tight budget. Where can I spare some money to be able to pick this Mobo? My build consists of : Ryzen 3 1200, 80+ power supply (I already got a local brand that is pretty good), 16 gb 3000Mhz ram, Corsair spec - 04 chassis, Gtx 1060 6gb from MSI, AOC 75hz monitor (forgot the model).

If the above cost is way lower than your estimated budget, I'd suggest you bump up the CPU to a Ryzen 5 1600.

If the above cost is still higher than your estimated budget, I'd go for an 8GB (2 x 4GB) RAM in the mean time.

That's really solid man! Thanks for the help. I stay in India so after customs, the prices go up by a lot. I don't think I'll be able to bump up to a 1600 but perhaps Ryzen 5 1400 for 4 more threads? Is it worth it? Also I was considering going with 8 gigs too but I do some video editing and I'll need at least 16 I think. Also, I will be using an existing 1 tb ssd (850 EVO) and maybe I'll add in another 1 TB HDD for some storage.

Wouldn't the ASRock Fatal1ty X370 GAMING X be a better buy? As of this writing its $130-$20 rebate=$110 unless i'm missing something.
