AMD - Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz 6-Core Processor

Gigabyte - GA-AB350-GAMING 3 ATX AM4 Motherboard

Crucial - 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory

Zotac - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB Mini Video Card

Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

I don't know how the prices compare to dollars. But I just put in the parts that you should consider changing.

For a $1k system you need to have 16gb of RAM. You selected a dual channel motherboard for RAM, so you need to get 2 sticks of RAM instead of 1. I selected a 16gb kit (2x8gb). For Ryzen you need fast RAM. I would go with something over 3000mhz instead of the 2133mhz you selected.

You need an SSD to load your OS onto for this rig. Again, for a 1k system, a SSD is standard. It will drastically speed up boot times and load times and will make your PC feel faster for day to day task.

Corsair makes some very good PSUs, but the VX line is the bottom of their stack. A quality PSU is important as a malfunction can damage...

Corsair makes some very good PSUs, but the VX line is the bottom of their stack. A quality PSU is important as a malfunction can damage other components of you PC. I also upped it to 550watts. 450 is enough for your system, but 550 watts will give you some breathing room if you want to upgrade to a larger GPU later down the road.

If your over budget with the PSU, then stick with the one you have. But definitely get a 16gb kit for ram and go for a SSD.

Prices in India is very high. That's why you guys see a mostly underspeced rig when it's listed for 1000 bucks.
Anyway, try to get a 2666/2800 mhz ram so you can bump it up to 2933 in bios. If you can manage a 3000mhz, even better.
That vs series psu is junk. Get an Antec vp 550p or seasonic ss500 from Amazon.
Other parts are looking good.

Hi All,
I am planing to build the same with some changes. The build details are given below.
1. AMD - Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz 6-Core Processor
2. Gigabyte - GA-AB350-GAMING 3 ATX AM4 Motherboard
3. Kingston - HyperX Fury Black 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory
4. Zotac - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB AMP! Edition Video Card
5. EVGA - SuperNOVA G2 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
6. Corsair Carbide Series CC-9011050-WW Mid-Tower Steel Gaming Case with Red LED (Black)
The doubts I am having are these
1. With ram of 2133 mhz will it affect the build performance (comparing with 3000 mhz/2666mhz) because I am going to use this build just for gaming? Right I am on a tight budget. If it affect the performance how will it affect?
2. Is it a good option to replace the PSU with Corsair VS550 because it will help me in saving money?
3. In future I would like to addon a SSD and TP-Link TL-WDN4800. Will I be able to upgrade the same on the above build without any modification?

You really want to get 2 sticks of RAM. Running one stick on a dual channel board can cause problems. And I would definitely go for high speed RAM. It really will be worth the money.

As for the Corsiar VS lineup, this is the truth. The Corsair VS is their bottom tier PSU. It is not nearly as good as the EVGA G2 you selected. But, the Corsair VS is also not going to burn your house down. There are a lot worse PSUs in the world.

If it were me, I would go with the VS PSU and get 2 sticks of RAM and try to find them rated for 3000mhz.
