Hi. New member here.

I recently bought a new pc, no problem there, but I was considering upgrading my old system for my son.
But the question is, will it work and is it worth it or should I just start from scratch?

My old system has:
motherboard: P67A-C45 (B3)
RAM: 8gb ddr3
CPU intel I5-2500k @ 3.30GHz, stock-cooler.
GPU gtx 570.
HDD mechanical 1tb 7200rpm.
PSU 650 w

Considering that the motherboard has a LG1155 which doesn´t fit any new CPUs I was planning on simply swapping the GPU with a gtx 1050ti and maybe buying a SSD to run win10 and a few games from. Is the 1050ti enough or would I go for a 1060 3gb or even 6gb?

Will it work?

Thank you in advance for your help

GTX 1060 6GB is a great choice. With the 1050ti, you sometimes need to lower down some settings, but it's a amazingly budget 1080p card. The 3GB 1060 is not worth it.

You've a unlocked cpu, so you can give it an overclock. Make sure you use a aftermarket cooler, and do much research.

Caution: So can damage you cpu, so before you start overclocking, do much research about overclocking.
