Best fx cpu for ga-78lmt-usb3

Wanting to know what is the best possible fx cpu that the board can do, considering also that it is a 4+1 power phase? Also would like to go into overclocking if possible.

I had that board (Rev 6.0) for awhile with my FX-8350 in it. No problems. But it was useless trying to OC the 8350 furnace. Any increase crashed. Leaving the CPU at stock, it ran well tho. Gamed pretty good with the GTX 970 I had at the time, in fact. But it had a sys fan control issue that caused me to get rid of it.

You'll need to reference your board's Rev (usually printed near the PCIe slots). But this is the CPU support list for that board in Rev 6.0. The strongest CPU is the FX-8370. Not sure you'd get much OC'ing it tho. And if your board is one of the older rev's., it might not take the OC'ing well at all.
