I recently purchased a new PC by parts. After a few weeks of working flawlessly I started getting the blue screen of death after logging in. With some help I was able to sort it out. But from since, when i power up the PC...a few seconds after it shuts off....lights on MB go off and fans go off.....and on the second attempt it starts perfectly with no problem. The shut down only occurs on the first boot attempt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

make sure to update everything
make sure you applied thermal paste
make sure you try turning off and on/restarting many times in a row to find a real pattern of failure

I came to realize that it happens mostly after the PC has been powered off for a period time. If i'm using the PC and i restart, the issue doesn't occur. If i power off and power on immediately, it doesn't occur either. The only other time it happens, is when the PC has been in sleep mode for a period time but this isn't always the case.
