How do I flash bios?

Right now i am using my old setup to get a new windows product key. After that i am going to replace my amd mobo/cpu with an i7 7700k and a Gigabyte z170mx gaming-5 mobo. I have an older 1151 cpu to use to do the flash to update it and allow the use of the new i7. Trying to be clear on how to exactly do this once i turn the computer on and it takes me to the bios screen.

This is not true, I have been using this for years with absolutely no issues. Most Gigabyte MB's come with dual BIOS anyways.

Well, it is true, that flashing in Windows is not that safe as flashing it in BIOS itself.

But it´s true too, that this MB has DUAL BIOS onboard and should anything happen, the backup BIOS would flashback a working BIOS to boot properly again.

BTW, why not getting a Z270 board in the first place?
