PSU stress test

hi, i was wondering what software is should use to stress test my psu as i think it may be the cause of random shut downs and freezes i have recently been experiencing.

If you are in any doubt your PSU is showing signs of giving up, i certainly would not want to put any stress on it, because if it is at fault, it could take all the components it is attached to with it if it goes bang. Swap it out with a new quality unit ASAP. Then, if you wish get it tested by a qualified electrician.

Good point Phillip. I am just one of those people who like to know why, and how badly something is going wrong. Just for experience and education.
