Difference between NA and UK PSU models?

The title says it all. Is it only the plug type that makes a difference? If so, am I able to buy an NA model and end up plugging it into a UK socket? Are there are extra procedures to do other than putting on an adapter? Sounds silly enough, but I know that UK plugs are 220V and NA ones are 110V, so that is why I'm asking if there is something to be aware of before buying an NA model.

Solution
Check the specs before you buy, but most PSUs now are for worldwide use, automatically switching between 120/240 as appropriate by means of an internal sensor.

Some of the cheaper ones may instead have a manual slide-switch on the power input panel.

There used to be a little switch on the back of PSU's to switch between 220 or 110...
(fun fact! If you switched a PSU to 110 and plugged it into a 220V wall outlet, you get an impressive POP! followed by a lovely burning smell.. )

I think this is less and less common now and they detect and switch automatically. (Much like a power brick for a laptop)

How about the Corsair AXi and HXi series? I'm considering to buy one from either lineups.
