You didn't upset me, I was simply passing on experience.

Corsair CX and Seasonic S12 or M12 are usually decently priced, should be able to snatch one of those for $40 (this is USD).
If possible I would suggest a 520 or 550w model. You certainly do not need that for a 750 ti but these higher quality PSUs should last your 4-6 years of service and by getting >500w you give yourself plenty of wiggle room for future upgrades. At current point a 520w PSU can support up to an NVIDIA GTX-1070 or AMD RX-580.
You had it for 2 years with your 250, but now you are looking at getting a different GPU.

And the whole.....i have done x for y amount of time period without a problem argument is not really valid.

Someone could drive through a non-busy intersection 100 times without stopping and not have an accident, doesn't mean that it is safe.

Your PSU is a low quality unit, fortunately for you your current GPU has not pushed it beyond its limits yet and it has lasted longer than average. Regardless that unit is not going to be able to put out its stable wattage and when it does die it has a very high probability of frying your parts.

If you don't want to buy a new PSU then that's fine, doesn't hurt me any. I did my diligence by giving a warning based off my experience, so someday in the future when you smell something burning and your PC wont turn on, you know why.
