motherboard screen constant freezes (chillblast)

Because you had the H110 MB with 7th gen cpu.

1st to check the MB BIOS version to see it has the newer one or not, according to gigabyte site the MB has to have the F20 at least for the 7th gen CPU. https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-H110M-S2H-rev-10#support-dl

And I see the PC had the Aerocool brand 80 PLUS 500W PSU, we know it is not the good brand, even gtx1050ti does not draw too much power. You may try take the gtx1050ti, using onboard intel iGPU to boot the PC to see the PC will boot up normally or not. Don't forget clear the CMOS first.
