Hi, so i was playing battlefield and suddenly my laptop crashed to blue screen of death. restarted and went back playing after 10 mins and again bsod,

First crash was video scheduler internal error and second crash was - driver power state failure

googled a bit and uninstalled the 960m driver, now everytime i try installing the nvidia 960m driver the laptop crashes and goes back into that bsod loop. ( no chance of using the laptop if i dont delete 960m driver as non stop restart loop )

Right now running the laptop on the intel 4600 graphics, laptop is working perfectly fine on this intel card but cant play games.

Hardware issue ?

Lenovo Y50-70
Intel Core i7-4720HQ @2.60Ghz
Intel HD Graphics 4600
Nvidia GTX 960m
16Gb RAM
512 SSD
Windows 10 x64

Yes absolutely...windows will auto load a generic low performance VGA driver if one is not installed...its how you can load Windows from a blank HHD in a new computer.
Uninstall the driver and remove the device using Device Manager.

Reboot and run Driver Uninstaller from guru3d to vacuum out any leftover driver files.

Download the latest nVidia driver package for the 960m and try to install...do not use the Lenovo provided drivers...get it directly from nVidia's website.

Both of the error messages you listed are directly related to driver issues.

It's possible the Intel graphics driver is conflicting with the nVidia hardware during install...I would try uninstalling the Intel driver also using Driver Uninstaller...follow the directions exactly. If installing only the nVidia driver with the Intel driver removed fails I would contact Lenovo support.
