water cooling help

i bought a MSI GTX 1080 SEA HAWK EK X but i dont have a water cooler.... does it need one really? been playing for 3 days and haven't had an issue

WHAT? Is this a real question?:). I can't believe your card has been running for 3 days without been hooked to a proper liquid cooling loop. Forget gold, that card needs a diamond medal award. You will damage the card if you don't build a liquid cooling loop. The liquid flow patch covers all critical components like GPU, memory and PWM as well as other critical components.

you either sell this card and buy an air cooled one, or you do shopping for a pump, radiator, tubes and fittings - should cost you about 150-250$ depends on parts selection.
there is no way this card is running fine with this cooler without liquid going through. it most probably thermal throttles and will have issues very fast.
