I have a question for HDD Experts here, do Seagate improving ? You guys can take a look at the newest behardware return rates here : http://www.hardware.fr/articles/962-6/disques-durs.html.
In the website states that seagate return rates drops but not more than Western Digital.

Is Seagate's failure rate improving...yes. Does that mean it's good now.... no! Their dreaded ST3000DM001 model had massive failure rates. We are still getting a few each week of those in for recovery. From 4Tb on up, it's been better but still not very good.

Spend a couple more bucks and buy an HGST brand drive.

As a data set it's quite poor, there's no indication of sample size, which makes it really difficult to tell if the samples are large enough to be useful and comparable. Also where did the data come from? But I agree the 10% looks very odd, i'd expect it's an artefact of the data, else they'd have pulled then at 10%.
