I just got a H100i GTX and a i7-7700k. I did the bios update for the cpu. Computer boots up into windows 10 64 bit and sees both cpu and the cooler in device manager. However, there is a explanation point by the watercooler, which I think means no driver. I am seeing fluctuation of cpu temps in idle going mainly in 31 degrees C, but fluxuation of as high as 70. I think this all points to driver not being there. I looked online and can't find the driver. First question is this a driver problem and where can I find the driver? Btw I installed the cooler into the cpu fan header and did not convert it to the power supply. Any help would be great.

You should also be able to control the fan speeds of the cooler with the corsairlink software. Your temps are ok, rarely do I go above 62C under full load

Msi afterburner. In idle I am seeing mostly 31 degrees but fluctuating all the way as high as 55 degrees after driver install. It doesn't stay at 55 very long. Highest is 62 but doesn't stay long and goes down to 31 fairly quickly. This normal for idle?

Btw I installed the water cooling connecting it to the cpu fan header and saw a video saying I should convert it to the psu connector so the psu provides a constant voltage and is safer for the system. What ya think about that if I should do that? If so, what is the part called cause I tried cpu fan male to psu female preperial connector and couldn't find the part he was using in the video.
