I am building a new computer and I'm not sure as to what I did wrong. I followed all directions as my motherboard came with, hooked everything up as it was supposed to be. I go to turn my computer on and it goes to power on for a fraction of a second then instantly back off. If I try to turn it on again nothing, unless I turn the PSU off and wait a moment. Like I said this is a new build and I'm dumbfounded on it. Any help would be appreciated.

Well I first disconnected the fans and it did the same. I then disconnected my CDrom and it powered up and came to life! Further inspection shown me that my power cord going to the CDrom was messed up. Problem solved. Thanks for the suggestion of disconnecting the fans
