So, I just bought a msi ft 710. I put it in my hp pavilion a4313w pc and installed the drivers with the disc it came with. I restarted the pc and plugged the vga into the gpu and no signal. I tried taking the gpu out, put the vga into the motherboard port, and there was a signal. I went to disable the inter grated graphics but windows failed to boot. I booted it normally and disabled the intergrated graphics. I put the gpu back in, put the vga into the gpu and still no signal. Can someone help me?

Question from Jwjeremy : "Is a gt 710 compatible with my pc"

The 710 will not provide much improvement over the integrated graphics on the PC already. So if the iGPU is damaged or you want to run multiple monitors, there is really no reason get a 710.

I agree with the bandwidth restriction as well, it will not matter at all. x16 lanes of PCIe 1.0 is more than enough. It is equivalent of running x8 of PCIe 2.0.
