HIGH BACKGROUND CPU usage

so i did the userbenchmark test and it shows high cpu background usage around 10-22% while i have nothing open, and there is no program or anything using that much cpu usage in the task manager.

Plz help.

CPU:Intel i-5 4570
GPU: MSI GAMING X8G 1070
RAM: SEAGATE 1TB
SSD: UNKNOWN BRAND 128GB

My youtube and twitch are also lagging.

If you cant see it in task manager, then it is a hidden process.

as u can see malwarebytes service and antimalware services executable are pretty high.
can i disable those?

it would be more helpful to show them sorted by the processes tabs, and, with no browser open, and, be sure all Windows updates are downloaded and applied.

Once sure no WIndows updates are clogging up the works, then we can look at task manager/processes...

Do as mdd1963 sayd. But filter based on cpu usage so the program that uses the most cpu % is always listed on top.

Go to task manager/startup, and disable everything not needed from starting...then reboot, and again doublecheck all updates are done, no malware scans running, etc...

Even a lowly Dell 1.63 GHz laptop can get down to 2-3% CPU utilization, so, something is causing the extra tasking...

mdd1963 :

i have no program on startup running, everything is updated, no malware scans. So i tried the benchmark again, and it stil says 14% background cpu and the task manager is still the same.
