Bad PCIE x16 slot

Sadly, my computer was tipped on it's side during moving , and one of the PCIE x16 slots appears to have broken. It works when the computer is on it's side, but when standing upright it sends no signal to the monitor.

The clip at the end of the PCIE slot that is supposed to hold the graphics card in-place has popped off. I still have the clip, and it doesn't look broken. Is this something that a repair shop would be able to fix?

Additionally, is it dangerous for my graphics card to continue using it in the current state? Do I run the possibility of equipment failure? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I looked at a couple of other similar questions but they didn't address these specific topics.

Thanks!

Is it dangerous for the board not really since the slot is already broke, the card in the other hand yes if it falls out or moves there a possibility for it to be damaged. Also yes the pci x16 slot can be repaired but the shop need a rework station to fix it and most computer shop don't like the hassle of it. Now there 2 solution the 1st/cheapest if you have a micro atx board with one pci x16 slot get and pci x16 extender cable and or x1 to x16 adapter and put the card to the lower slot where there room like this. https://sc01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1TXbAFVXXXXXqXVXXq6xXFXXXf/220872262/HTB1TXbAFVXXXXXqXVXXq6xXFXXXf.jpg. And the second solution I need to know what your mother board model?

If you have that board you don't need the extender just use the other slot.
