Just as the title explains. I am looking for the best made AGP Card that would be the best for playing old games (Splinter Cell:pT, COD2, Silent Hill 3, GTA:SA, etc...) on their best settings or as good as good as they can play on the best AGP card.

Doesn't matter what price, wattage, bottlenecking, I just want to know what the best is.

For reference my current card is the 6600GT with the DOOM 3 faceplate.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I'm using a XP Pro Computer so Windows 10 drivers don't matter... sory :(

none of those are AGP

Yep, HD3850 is the fastest AGP card, while HD4670 can hardware accelerate H.264 in Flash. Both can run WebGL and even have drivers for Windows 10! They are at least 3x as powerful as the 6600GT which can do none of those things.

But older games don't really use that many shaders so don't need anything quite so modern. I have a pair of AGP HD4670 but use X850XT instead in two retrogaming systems, just so I can triple boot 9x-XP-Win 7. They seem just as fast except in FEAR (which I run on a modern Win 10 system instead), can run Aero in 7, and the latest driver can be used with control panel so I don't have to install dotnet for CCC in XP.

New gen GPUs would be a complete fail with an AGP board, being no more able to run games than a rock.

Sure, ATI FireGL 8800 from 2001, based on Radeon 8500.

No on G80. AGP slot only provides 48w but I suppose it could have been done with a bridge chip and 6-pin + 8-pin power connectors. I doubt many people in 2006 would have paid more than the $649 of the PCIe version though, only to stick it into an AGP slot.

nVidia did put a bridge chip on the G71 7950GT though to convert it into AGP, a year after the 8800GTX in 2007, for $349. No Win 8 drivers for those.

Do you know what the best card from NVIDIA by any chance?

I'm totally open to Red Team, just that I have a relationship with NVIDIA since i was like 6 with the previously mentioned Doom 3 6600GT

I think the were 7800s from nvidia, gonna be rare as rocking horse muck though.
