What the [removed] heck?

Okay so I was playing in my pc for around half an hour (was playing need for speed rivals atm) the whole thing just randomly shuts down...But the ram leds were still on and the power button of the chassis was blinking...I plugged it out and plugged it back in turned it on and the whole system got back on where it turned itself off.Like the game was running the temps were just fine...Can anyone tell me what on earth just happened?

Might be the power supply, try reseating the ram and gpu, also check all power cables are fitted properly

Also another thing is I get crazy amount of esd from the pc,I can't touch the metal parts of the pc cause it creates a huge jolt of electricity when I touch it...Even if I plug in usb cables I can't touch the port at the other end...Is this happening because of that?
Is esd like this a huge problem too?

unplug the machine from the wall and see if it does it then, if it does then its possessed by zeus
