intel turbo boost question

I have a i5 4690k cpu. I don't know if turbo boost is active or not. its on in the bios motherboard is a asus maximus 7 hero. but its not showing turbo boost in windows 10. I also looked in the task manager nothing showing turbo boost in there either.

yep he is correct also if you do not know. Turbo boost is like an automatic overclock on your cpu it will overclock or leave it at stock depending on whether your cooling solution can handle it

the turbo boost is already active, you can monitor with these: Turbo Boost Monitor 2.0 and 2.6 -> http://bit.ly/2yzBaNq (work on Win 7/8 / 8.1 / 10/10 RedStone 1/2/3)
