Hey, Before I upgraded my GPU I had the same two monitors connected and everything worked out good I dont remeber what GPU I had but it was a AMD GPU, And some months ago I upgraded my GPU to a gtx 960 and my main monitor worked out great because its a newer model but my pc cant find my old LG monitor anymore and it only have a VGA port on the monitor so I bought a VGA port to a HDMI and it didnt work so then I bought a VGA to a VGA cable but it didnt work either I have tried to make it work on NVDIA control panel and windows settings and neither found the monitor, Any solution to make this work? Do I need a DVI to a VGA adapter?

Solution
If your GTX 960 has a DVI-I port, then you could use a simple DVI-I to VGA adapter like the one below and the display should show up as available in the NVidia Control Panel. It may help if we knew the specific model of the GTX 960.

you need to make sure its a active ( powered ) adapter

anything > VGA
