I just build my first ever desktop gaming pc. I have never I used a desktop before this. I've had it and been using it for 3 days. Is there anything else I should do like updating bios and driver? For two day my computer has been shutting down then booting up randomly multiple time then letting me use it with no problem . I think this is due to the humidity in the room. But do you think that's possible? Or is it that I need to update the bios and stuff?

Solution

Do you see any ! or ?

If not then I would think all drivers are up to date.

Next thing is a bit or a lot more involved. RIght click start and click Event Viewer. Locate the errors for the exact time the crashes happened. They might offer a clue or 3 where the problem is.

Copy the Summary screen and paste it into a reply over here. Please also offer the complete make and model of your Power Supply Unit.

I'm just wondering but why would it reboot multiple time then let me use it if for the rest of the day if the latest drivers aren't installed? And how do I figure out what drivers to install?

Right click Start button in bottom left(assuming taskbar hasn't been moved) and click on Device Manager. See any ! or ?? Those are the items that need updating. Only download drivers from their manufacturer.
Let's assume there were chipset/USB issues. I would visit https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/PRIME-Z270-A/ . I would then click on Support. Not the Support at the very top of the page. Support to the right of PRIME Z270-A. I would then click on Drivers and tool and download the drivers I needed.
