Now this doesn't always happen but I say roughly 50% of the time when I launch a game primarily Fallout 4 and Garry's Mod, I haven't noticed it with any other games like Diablo 3 and Minecraft but with Fallout 4 and Garry's Mod specifically when I start them it can be an instant freeze then restart or it can take up to about 5 minutes before the game freezes while making a weird sound (I'm assuming its repeating the last sound played in the game over and over from freezing) and then restarts my computer and I don't know what causes this, though I have seem to notice that Garry's Mod does it a little less lately for some reason and I don't know why so I'm hoping someone can help me because its quite annoying.

Doesn't give you a bsod(blue screen of death) or something?

Have you ever watched your temps whilst gaming?
If not, do so, the problem has probably something to do with the temps

No I didn't get a blue screen and my computer was only on for maybe an hour while I was watching videos before I decided to play Fallout 4 when it froze and restarted my computer

Full system specs please.
From what I've read this can be a thermal issues, power issue, hdd issue,.....

Now I'm not to knowledgeable when it comes to finding my system specs so quickly tell me where I may find them and I post them and my computer is windows 10 if that helps in anyway

Download speccy and install it. It will tell you all your system specs. Expect the psu that you need to open the case for and read the label (this is very important).

Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i7 4790 @ 3.60GHz

Motherboard
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. G20AJ (SOCKET 1150)
Graphics
ASUS VH238 (1920x1080@74Hz)

Storage
931GB Seagate ST1000DX001-1CM162 (SATA)

And as for the PSU I can't do that because I'm renting to own this computer and if I opened the case I'm pretty sure that would void the warranty

Give me the money then I'll be more than glad to stop renting it

Since you rent it can't you return it for support or something? Renting a desktop nowdays seems like a really strange thing since computers are so cheap nowadays.

Desktops maybe cheap for you but not for me and yes I could take it into the place I'm renting it from but I would like to know the issue before taking it in so that they could fix it and get it back to me sooner rather than fiddling with it for a few days trying to figure the problem out themselves.
