External hard drive power issue

I have a Seagate 3 TB external hard drive. For some reason, there seems to be no power going to it. I have checked multiple plugs in my home, and they are all operational. What could be my next step in troubleshooting?

If it is desktop external drive with power adapter then adapter may have gone bad.Though it is possible to arrange another adapter with matching voltage & current values as seagate one still I would suggest to get it checked at seagate authorized service centre.
