Hello everyone,
I decided that today would be the day I dusted out my first build for the first time after a year unfiltered of dust collection. While trying to dust out my PSU, I made a fatal error. I suck the nozzle in the thing, and what I thought was a large and satisfying clump of dust started spewing out the back. My satisfaction soon turned to horror when I realized this was propellant from the can. After that I put the bag o' wind and PSU down and finished my work with a lump in my throat. Before putting the PSU in I used the included tester (paper clip test in a piece of plastic) and found my beloved G2 could not even power itself. Without giving up hope I did my wiring (much better than the first time, if were looking for positives...) shut the case up and attempted to boot, unsurprisingly without a desired result. It's pretty obvious I killed the PSU, and I'm going to attempt to take advantage of EVGAs warranty. What I'm asking for is how to go abut this, as I have never done anything like this and could use some guidance before breaking the news to his parents (I'm sure they'll thrilled I need a new hard drive now...). You have full permission to make fun of me in any way you like.
Short version: I ruined my EVGA PSU and would like some guidance in how to use my warranty.

The embarrassment of a small mistake is always outweighed by the relief that you haven't bricked a component! :D
