Chrome high RAM usage while playing Videos

So, recently i have noticing my chrome hangs a lot while playing videos from websites like Kissanime, and when i checked the ram usage i see that the video tab is using 80% of my RAM, i have also check/unchecked Hardware acceleration but it is not doing any good. I had just changed from firefox to chrome but now i am thinking to switvhing it back now. i have i3 processor, 4 gb of ram, windows 10 os. normally there are only 2 to 3 tabs open at one time and most of them are text based websites. i checked my extensions and there is adblock and google docs extensions. Why is it taking so much ram, previously it worked great.

If the browser-based player is caching the file so you can rewind without having to re-stream, that would explain the browser using hundreds of MBs to a few GBs of memory depending on the videos' bitrate and duration.

so is there any way to disable it..like its using 80 - 90 % of My ram and making my pc too slow.
