Good Day guys,

Just wondering if i could put the new GPUS EVGA 1060 GTX 6GB, or 3gb which one is more convenient for me??

Or should i buy the rx 480 4gb

I just wanna make sure cuz i want to buy a new gpu.my budget is about 200-300 USD

My specifications:

CPU: Intel Core i3 4170 3.7ghz RAM: 8GB Kyngston HyperFuryx Motherboard: Asrock h81m GPU: Sapphire r7 260x OC DD5 HDMI DVIX2 PSU: Cooler Master Xtreme 750W OS: Windows 10 64 bits

Solution
1060 6 GB is 10% better than 1060 3GB
RX 480 on the other hand had the same resource on both 4 GB and 8 GB variant
while i really want to recommend those GPU, it's pretty much OoS / overpriced because of the mining craze... (most of them priced above 300$, RX might starts from 350$ or even more, RX 470/570 that was suppose to be the middleground between 1060 and 1050ti cost around 300$ too....)
so if u want to upgrade, either go with the 1050ti (which affected but the price increase wasn't as high as the higher tier GPU, some aren't affected at all) or just wait up and get a whole new system along with a new GPU, since i don't think i3 will cut it on CPU demanding title like GTA V, BF 1, Witcher 3, and other games with big world(if u're playing e-sport title only, i don't think u would need a GPU upgrade anytime soon)

HOWEVER! if u can find a good deal for either 1060 / RX 480 / RX 580 (perhaps he sells it for 290$) i think it's still worth it to grab that GPU :)

PS: i know the 1050ti doesn't offer significant increase from your old GPU

but it's still a solid increase + extra VRAM anyway, u will still be able to crank those settings up

Thanks Sr,!, so you recommend me to go with the 1050 TI EVGA?, or which one is the best version to go with??.

I understand your point, and its true, there is no point buying an expensive card with my low-mid range gpu and system, so i think 1050 ti is the logical reason , for not getting any bottleneck

i'm not from America so i can't tell for sure which brand is the best, but from i heard, EVGA had the best customer support there, so i think it's really a good point, after all most GPU from each brand only differs about 5% in terms of performance and heat (some are 5% better, some are 5% worse)

PSU with 400w is the minimum wattage required for a rig with 1050ti
while Nvidia boast 1050ti as a "budget monster without pin connector" (i just made that one up) some brand decided to add a 6-pin connector port to give their GPU extra OC headroom, this is the thing u should mind, so u don't end up buying a GPU that needs 6-pin connector when u don't have one

Edit: just checked R7 260X requirement, nevermind about the PSU and pin connector, 1050ti is stronger and more power efficient so your PSU should be just fine, even if the 1050ti variant required a 6-pin connector
