Recently my girlfriend was given a semi new desktop to do work on, it's outfitted with 8gb ddr3, and intel i5, and win 7. It is not great but it was mainly used for office work so it more than got the job done. She very much enjoys Skyrim and wants to retire from her xbox and play with mods on the pc, (cant blame her there). The only problem is her pc is outfitted with an internal gpu, basically just good enough to present power points. However it does have a slot for 1 gpu. It doesn't look like the gpus it can accept would be able to have the 6pin power cord going to it, and would strictly have to run off of the motherboard. What is the best gpu that her pc handle? And by best I basically mean a good gpu that can run Skyrim, as it will be the only game she plays. Pics will follow, thanks
