Recently I moved to the US from Asia and I brought along my PC as well.
Prior to departure, I did a check on the PSU that I have and the voltage range was 100~240v. I believe that this range was good for the voltage in US.
However, when I setup my PC after I'm in the US, I wasn't able to turn the PC on. I did a paperclip test and found out that my fancy system fan was working (although PSU fan didn't work due to PSU overkill). Apart from that, my wireless headphones seems to be charging from the USB port.
My PC setup is as follows:
- ASRock Z97 Killer
- Intel Core I5-4690k 3.5Ghz 6mb
- WD 3.5" 1TB SATA
- Samsung 250GB EVO SSD
- Cooler Master hyper 212x
- Corsair RM750W 80+ Gold ATX PSU
- Sapphire R9 290 4GB GDDR5 Tri-X OC
- G.skill Ripjaws 1600mhz 2x8GB ram
