I had a Logitech G430 fore about a year and a half, its a real trash, the sound quality is good enough for me but its plastic is not durable at all, I had it broken three times and I fixed it each time, now its full of duct tape and crap so I decided to change.

I am looking for a wireless 7.1 surround sound headset/headphones+mic for gaming and chatting on skype or streaming on twitch for about 100$ or less if possible (with zero latency monitoring just like the g430) with a sound quality same as the g430 is enough for me (but not worse than that), suggest me some stuff please :)

I was lookiong at the corsair H2100 and some reviews where telling that its a very good headset and some tells its the crapiest headset I will ever find, I dont know what review to believe so I asked here.

I was also looking at the SF-600 mic for about 16$ and I was impressed with its quality for the price, but what makes me woory is the lack of the headphones jack on it for the zero latency monitoring (its important for me since I want to stream)

thank you in advance

Corsair void headset is pretty nice, I used it for about a year or so before I decided I wanted to switch to a separate mic/headset combination. Pros: Wireless, Light, In your price range, Cons: Kinda an odd shape, when you put it on your head the part that goes ontop of your skull is a bit more towards your forehead than a typical headphone style, The mic, the mic isnt the strongest in this one, it works fine and what not for talking to people the quality just isnt the best. Thats about the only headset ive personally used in your price range that I can give you my input on, good luck with whatever you purchase!

does that mean that the mic quality is not that good for streaming?
I'v also saw some reviews of the void telling that the h2100 is better, link: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?p=806696
I dont know what to believe any more xD

I mean, people definatley use worse, you can look up people who have demo'd the mic. The h2100 may very well be better, but I haven't had hands on use with it, i've only owned the void and can give my input on it, sorry! I guess theres reassurance in that whichever item you do chose, you'll probably be able to return it within a given time frame if you don't like it, happy headphone hunting!
