Acer VX 15 vs ASUS GL553 VE

I'm wondering if I should buy the Acer VX 15 for 1400 or the Asus gl553 be for 1550-1600. They have almost exactly the same specs. The main difference is the screen which apparently the Asus has the better screen.

Is it worth it to get the Asus for the screen or will there be barely any difference?

I will be using the laptop for medium photo editing as well as gaming and web browsing.

I would go with the Acer. But that is just my preference. The difference in the two are the viewing angles. The Asus has better viewing angles but that only matters when you are not sitting in front of the laptop.

Considering laptop screens are not huge in the first place and to use the keyboard you have to be right in front of the screen, the more viewing is not a feature that would really be value added for me. So I don't think it warrants the additional cost.

The Asus has better color accuracy.
