NEED HELP! FX 8350 Cinebench results lower than before

hi, ive still got my old amd fx 8350 cpu and decided to OC it today and just before doing that i put it into harsh stress test for about 30 mins and got 628 score on cinebench then i cleaned the dust, fans etc restarted and ran cinebench once more but after i cleaned everything properly i cant even reach 500 (max is 496) then went with the OC procedure bumped it to 4.2 (from 4.0) and got an even lower score of 428. so far ive got no idea what caused this anyone experienced same or similiar thing before? also got to mention i scraped some of thermal paste while remounting my cpu cooler could that be the issue?

my specs: fx 8350 4.0 rx480 8 gb g. skill ripjaws 8 gb ram (2x4) thermaltake nic4 cpu cooler

also forgot to mention my temps. theyre pretty unstable atm; 35-45 celcius degrees on idle (sometimes goes up to 60), 70-80 on stress testing. I guess thermal paste might be the issue ive to reapply tomorrow and see what happens :)

Those are way to high and in the throttling range for an FX.

i couldnt wait for tomorrow and applied some mayo on top of my cpu as temporary coating and works like a charm, 28 degrees on idle 65 degrees on 20min stress test also back to 630+ points on cinebench.
