Can someone tell me how to remove this backplate of the heatsink

I wanted to change my stock cpu fan to a cooler master hyper 212, it requires a different backplate to support the heatsink. But I have no idea how to uninstall the existing backplate that supports the stock fan. Can someone please tell me how to remove the it? Below is the link to the pictures, forgive me that I am unfamiliar with editing when it comes the forum post.

What you need to do is to push all metal lips inwards at the same time so you can pull the backplate off.

While the solution is straightforward, executing it is difficult. For easier removal, do one corner at a time.

Thank you very much! That's also what I thought, is there any specific tool that can be used to perform such task?
