My laptop is USB 3.0 compatible (dell xps 9950), and I just purchased a Seagate Backup Plus Slim external hard drive.
I'm clean installing Windows soon, so I am backing up everything in my C drive. But the write speeds seem tremendously slow (see pic below).

It is bouncing up and down a bit, but on average it has been below 100 kb/s. Is this normal for the amount of small files being copied, or is something wrong?
