Hi Folks. Been building PCs for years did over 40 by now but this has me stumped.
I need a fault finding check confirmed please.
Now the motherbaord that's in the title did not post with 4 ram sticks HyperX Predator 16GB kit.
So I tried them one at a time in slot 3.
3 failed and one allowed a post, I then tried them in slot 4. The same thing the working stick posted same 3 as before failed.
Tried two sticks in various slots. No post.
So logically I'm right in thinking I have 3 dead ram sticks?
Before anyone asks about slots 1 and 2 putting sticks in and out of slots 1 and 2 is a problem as it's got a Dark Rock cooler on there. Which makes unneeded in and outs a problem.
if only one stick, the same stick, << thats the important bit, works alone in slot 4 or 3 and 3 of the sticks dont work alone or in sets. Logically it's the ram right?
No way can I go and buy another 200 quids worth of ram for a tester or RMA what could be a good mobo and suffer a restock fee. Not to mention taking off that monster cooler that took me over 90 minutes to get on there.
So thoughts please guys n gals.

Well in case this helps anyone. Yes indeed the ram sticks were faulty. I recived 4 new sticks and they all worked, except in the sockets a1 and a2.
Took off the heat sink, removed the processor, yep my worst fear, bent cpu pins in the socket.
Motherboard RMA sent.
