Looking for an upgrade to my HD 7950

I upgraded my CPU and system and went with an I7-7770 4.2ghz. I just threw my old Power Cooler HD 7950 in there. I'm running on an LG 21:9 monitor. Mostly an RPG or FPS single player guy. What's a good upgrade in the $200-300 range where I'd notice a difference?

It is a good card and not too expensive right now. It had gone up with the mining craze to about 400 bucks, but is not back down below 300. I have the Zotac mini and it is great, but it is a bit more expensive at the moment.
