Messed up installing my motherboard

So I was following the instructions on my msi SLI plus book when I noticed that I didn't have enough screws for the standoff. I thought it was strange and decided to look online. After hours of searching the net I realized that the instruction in the book told me to use the PSU screws for the motherboard. Long story short, I had 5 standoffs completely caught in the PSU screws. After a couple of hours of work I finally got them removed. The process was not gentle. Are the damages bad? What should I do?

Don't see any damage in those blurry pictures. But how are the threads in the standoffs now that you forced in the wrong screws? And be sure you don't use an extra standoff where there is no hole for one on the board.

uhh they seem fine. I used the other standoffs that were supplied with the case anyway. I was more worried about the motherboard being scratched or fucked up when i had to get rough and unscrew the standoff.

You'll know when you fire it up. Unless you gouged the laminate with your screwdriver, it looks fine from what I can see. Did you have a particular area of concern?

Btw, what did you mean by "msi SLI plus book"?
