My friend recently bought a Gigabyte Windforce 1050Ti (brand new) which requires a six pin connector and atleast a 300w power supply.

The problem is, the PC doesnt turn on when the PCIe is connected but does turn on when it isnt connected, but without the 6 pin connector the GPU obviously doesnt start.

We are out of luck.

The Specs are:

CPU: Amd athlon x2 215
Mobo: Biostar MCP6PB M2+
RAM: 4 GB RAM
Power Supply: Max420 LC420H-8

I don't know what connector you are using as according to the website that psu doesn't even have pcie outs. Also, it produces 180w on the 12v rail and is generally garbage.

Buy a decent 450w psu with the suitable pcie connectors. I'd also stress that CPU is going to be fairly worthless for the gaming you might want to do with the 1050ti, so make sure you are happy investing.
