The problem there, personally, I don't feel the $100 CAD ($80 USD) between the 1070 and a 1080 represents a "good" value offering. In the US, the gap is more like $110 (so $140 CAD) but at $100 flat, it's hard to recommend a 1070.

By comparison, a GTX 1060 (6GB) is a quality 1080p card, and represents a great value for the money IMO.
