I recently noticed that my PC was getting really hot,so i decided to check the temps and to my surprise my cpu and motherboard temps were really high 76c-82c while playing games, and it keep jumping around between 40c-57c idle Im pretty sure these temps aren't normal,my best guess is that thermal paste needs to be replace but im not sure, and btw im using the stock cooler.

Solution
Higher than it should be at load, yes. Even idle is a bit high. The ambient temp and the case the system is in makes a difference too. But cleaning off the old TIM and replacing with fresh would be a good start. And be sure the cooler is clean of all dust, dirt, and grime. And check that the stock cooler didn't get unlatched somehow. That will retard cooling over time.

Cleaning the cooler/heatsink and replacing the thermal paste seems to pretty much fix the issue for the most part, idle temps are around 30c-37c and under load it gets to around 60c - 68 c or so,which seems pretty normal considring its pretty hot where i live atm. thank you for the quick reply :)
