DDR3-1866 on DP55WB Motherboard

I was trying to buy DDR3-1333 memory to my motherboard, but I accidentally bought DDR3-1866 RAM. I cannot return the RAM anymore, so I was thinking if I can use this type of RAM to my mobo.

My specs are:

  • Intel i5-760
    NVidia GTX 1050ti
    Intel DP55WB microATX motherboard

It should work fine, but may only run at 1333 MHz unless you OC it. 1866 is simply the max speed it is rated to run stable at. The system will determine the actual speed it operates at.
